There are so many stories that are lost and not shared: the story of the business owner, customers and the hundreds of random stories that changed people's lives at the local places we go to everyday.
Our plans are to roll this out, neighborhood by neighborhood. Bit by bit. Not in any real hurry but we want to keep things moving, so please share this site with other friends.
What defines a place
First, our places are offline. They are physical locations (primarily businesses) that are unique, independent and local.
Secondly, every great neighborhood place has a it's own vibe. It's the look, smell, conversations, customers, staff, graffiti, the owner, the owner's pet and most importantly the stories.
Finally, TownBit places are where you have to make eye contact, shake hands, hug, hang out, eat, drink, shop, socialize and work.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you." -Nelson MandelaOne more last thing: this is only the beginning.
